Kaka Red Card

In the beginning, the World Cup 2010 in South Africa had a theme. That theme was the draw or the tie. Now a blunder will forever follow a referee because of his call in the game with the USA. And with that, the KaKa Red Card seems to be sending the theme in a different direction.

Players and coaches alike are on edge and Brazil Coach Dunga said that the Kaka Red Card was unjustified. Brazil played the Ivory Coast and they won, however, not without some drama. And just like that, it seems the theme has gone from the tie or the draw to the red card and the angry. Kaka wouldn’t discuss the situation after the match.

The media hopes that the Kaka Red Card will evoke some conversation soon. Unfortunately, various internet polls show that the majority of viewers think that Keita took the play from Kaka and put on his best acting job. The general consensus is that he tricked the referee into giving Kaka his second yellow card. The reaction from Kaka was not pretty and the subsequent red card will keep him out against Portugal.
